The Control Unit HS1 with Firmware HS1FW2 can be used for easy and efficient control of H+L hydraulic fast punching units. The time critical task of controlling and supervising is offloaded from the machine PLC to HS1. Machine PLC is only required to assert a start signal for punching / forming - completion of the machine cycle will be indicated on status lines of the HS1. HS1FW2 can be configured in the following operation modes:

o Control unit for punching with mechanical steering in UT.
o Control unit for punching with electronical steering in UT.
o Option: power boosting for faster switching of one or two valves (only if supported by HW)
