TR2

2 Phase SM Power Amplifier

o Bipolar Power Amplifier for 2 Phase Stepping Motor
o Microstepping, resolution 200 .. 10000 Steps / rev
o Power supply 24 .. 60 V
o Phase current 0 .. 6 A
o Digital control: Step / Dir
o Digital control: Quadratur Signal for TR2 as a Slave Axis
o Analog control: +/- 10 V
o Digital Frequency Synthesis

TR2 is intended to drive 2 phase hybride stepping motors with phase voltages of 24V .. 60V and an adjustable phase current of max. 6 A. The application of micro stepping results excellent positional precision, smooth movement and low resonance phenomena. Step resolution can be set from 200 to 10000 Steps /rev (for motors with 200 full steps).

Control can be digital or analog:

- Digital control is accomplished with signals for step (= CLK) and direction (= DIR). Signal levels are 24 V or 5 V, using opto couplers for DC isolation.

- Analog control is accomplished with the classical +/-10 V signal for speed control. Signal interfacing is done with a DC coupled differential amplifier.

Both analog and digital control furnish various control options:
- ENABLE input for selective enable / disable of axis
- READY output indicating active state of axis
- Inputs for axis min / max. Sensor switches (UEPLUS, UEMINUS) for lockout of overload conditions
- Encoder feedback: simulated signals of an incremental encoder (A/B) are supplied for usage with classical servo interface CNC.
