Woodworking

Thanks to the collaboration with leading companies in the woodworking machine sector, Tecnos G.A. has introduced significant technological innovations, setting new standards in terms of speed and quality of axis control. The complexity and reliability demanded of woodworking sector applications require that the hardware and software as a whole be highly flexible and easy to develop. This is where Syncro stand out as milestones because of their high performance and absolute reliability. It is in this very sector where years ago the first integrations in corporate and field networks were implemented, designing specific modules to communicate with mainframes (Ethernet) and machine inputs/outputs (Profibus, Can Open).

Glassworking

Tecnos G.A has been active in the flat glass cutting sector for around fifteen years. As well as the typical applications for linear cutting, shaped cutting and stratified glass cutting, Tecnos G.A has developed noteworthy dynamic handling/cutting systems. In shaped cutting applications with tangent chuck where strong acceleration and high movement/engraving speed is required, the performance of the Synchro system is quite remarkable.

Marbleworking

In the marbleworking machine sector, Tecnos G.A offers solutions for conventional machining operations (cutting, boring, grinding, milling, cropping ...) or water-jet cutting. The laser shape-detection systems are of considerable interest in model production techniques.

Milling machine system

The design is based on a double-processor system; one dedicated to interface management and one to axis management with built-in PLC. Access to the interface and to programming is based principally on the use of vertical and horizontal function keys fitted to the PC12 with corresponding illustrative icons, aiming to make the system intuitive and easy-learning. The system allows work programming, both with ISO language and macros with modes for self-learning of quotes and tools. It is fitted with an ISO editor, gives a graphic display of the work sequence, has a zoom function and it allows the user to follow the work process graphically, step-by-step. ISO codes are supported for positioning, drilling, milling and miscellaneous functions (M codes), which can also be user-defined. Self-learning macros allow the user to monitor positioning and different types of drilling operations (grill holes, in-line, on parallelogram, etc.). Tool configuration; each tool can be associated a different corresponding image. Capability to define 100 piece sources. Manual function for operating the mandrel, axes and other machine cycles, with axle override and mandrel override control. Management of axes via adjustment wheel. The application also offers the option to personalise language messages for operation of the interface.

PUI - Programmable User Interface

The PUI project was created to provide an easy-to-use tool for developing a simple interface between the user and Tecnos Numerical Controls Compared to analogue tools already on the market, this product can be used for different types of Tecnos hardware which use the TN18 terminal or the built-in CN50 unit as interface units. Its other defining feature is its intelligence, spread throughout the Tecnos NC CPU unit, minimising the terminal to a simple input and output unit. The aim is to give the programmer full flexibility, configurability and power of the SYNCRO system, which is the beating heart of the Tecnos NC. The close integration between PLC and NC (a SYNCRO feature) allows the use of completely different types of applications, from multitask positioning systems to work centres for the cutting and machining of pieces.
